The Advanced Mechanics department offers two engineering courses, namely in Mechatronics and in Mechanics & Production. t also offers a co-constructed professional master's degree in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, a Master of Technology (MasTech), in collaboration with the National School of Engineers of Monastir, as well as a Master of Research in Mechanics and Systems Engineering. The department also offers doctoral training in Mechanical Engineering and has "Laboratoire de Mécanique de Sousse" (LMS), the first laboratory of ENISo.

The MA department brings together 21 permanent research teachers made up of five Professors, four Lecturers, nine Assistant Professors and three Assistants; as well as 3 language teachers. 

The department has several teaching laboratories including a Mechanical Hall comprising a prototyping laboratory and a numerically controlled manufacturing center, a mechanical characterization laboratory, a robotics laboratory, and a power transmission laboratory.

Through the Mechatronics sector, the department offers dual degree programs in Engineering and Masters with renowned schools such as ECAM in Brussels, INP Grenoble and Polytechnique Clermont (French Institute of Advanced Mechanics).
